📌Exodus chapter 20 & Deuteronomy chapter 5

⭐️Commandment- a divine rule; instructions from God to his people to do or not do a certain activity.

📚 Let’s read the commandments 📖

Read over each commandment in order.

📌Continually going over the commandments will help your child learn and remember.

1️⃣Thou shalt have no other gods before me.-put god first

2️⃣Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image - worship only him

3️⃣ Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain- don’t disrespect the Lords name or use His name to do evil

4️⃣ Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.- work 6days / rest on the 7th

5️⃣ Honour thy father and thy mother-obey your parents

6️⃣ Thou shalt not kill. -Harm no one

7️⃣ Thou shalt not commit adultery.- respect marriage

8️⃣ Thou shalt not steal.- if it’s not yours, don’t take it

9️⃣ Thou shalt not bear false witness-tell the truth

🔟 Thou shalt not covet - wanting something that someone else has and willing to break  Commandments to get it

📌2nd Commandment

🔎Bow -To bend the head body,or knee in reverence ,submission or shame.

Psalms 96:5

📌The gods of the other nations are idols, but the Most High is OUR one and only God.

John 5: 21

📌We must worship the Most High

🔎Idols -something or someone we worship that takes the place of the Most High in our lives.

🚨ANYTHING that comes between you and the Most High can count as an idol.

What you will need: printer , Scissors, and glue

➖ Have your child Cut out the pictures and glue them in the correct category.

➖Go over and explain why each picture goes in that specific category.

🚨🚨🚨Encourage your child to become a published author of their own 10 commandments book.

Each week we will complete an Illustration page and a writing page on that week's commandment.

They will email you all the pages you need to complete this activity for FREE.

At the end of our 10 week series you will be able to send your child’s book off to be published and in return you will receive a hard copy of their book.
