⭐️Commandment- a divine rule; instructions from God to his people to do or not do a certain activity.

Topic: 1st Commandment.

📚 Let’s read the commandments 📖

Read over each commandment in order.

📌Continually going over the commandments will help your child learn and remember.

#1 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.-put god first

#2 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image - worship only him

#3 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain- don’t disrespect the Lords name or use His name to do evil

#4 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.- work 6days / rest on the 7th

#5 Honour thy father and thy mother-obey your parents

#6 Thou shalt not kill. -Harm no one

#7 Thou shalt not commit adultery.- respect marriage

#8 Thou shalt not steal.- if it’s not yours, don’t take it

#9 Thou shalt not bear false witness-tell the truth

#10 Thou shalt not covet - wanting something that someone else has and willing to break Commandments to get it

🚨There is ONLY ONE TURE GOD.!

He created everything in the universe and made special people(the Israelites) to love and follow him. So the first commandment DOES NOT MEAN there are other real gods. But sometimes we love & worship made up gods or other things instead of God and we aren't supposed to, which we will learn more about when we talk about the second commandment.

God made it clear when he said No Other GODS before him.!

What you will need: printed hand , Scissors, crayons and Yarn

🚨🚨🚨Encourage your child to become a published author of their own 10 commandments book.

Each week we will complete an Illustration page and a writing page on that week's commandment.

They will email you all the pages you need to complete this activity for FREE.

At the end of our 10 week series you will be able to send your child’s book off to be published and in return you will receive a hard copy of their book.
