Genesis 1:14-19, Psalms 81:3, Numbers 10:10, Psalms 104:19, Ecclesiasticus 43:6-8

▪️In the beginning the Most High made two great lights on the fourth day.

▪️One to rule the day (that’s the SUN) and one to rule the night (that’s the MOON).

▪️We use the moon to tell us when to celebrate our High Holy days.

▪️The New Moon tells us it’s the beginning of a New month.

▪️The New Moon is a sabbath, so no Working, Buying or Selling, but it is also a FEAST so we are allowed to cook.!

Making Moon sand

Mix Flour and baby oil

1/4 cup baby oil for every 2 cups of flour. (You can also use Coconut oil)

Add Coloring to customize your moon sand and a few toys and let them play.
