Bravery science experiment🧪

Explain to your children how Esther had to be brave in order to save her people.

🔎Brave- ready to face and endure danger or pain; showing courage.

Have a quick discussion with your child on a time they needed to be brave or have courage.

Experiment(what you need)

  • Ziploc/Storage Bags

  • Sharp Pencils

  • Water

  • Water Tray (just in case)

Step 1: Fill the bag full of water and making certain that there are no holes or leaks.

Ask: What will happen if we broke up and see through the plastic bag?

(Allow child time to answer)

📌Children will probably be scared the water will leak out.

Tell them to be brave like Esther and go for it.!

Step2: allow child to start sticking in the sharpened pencils

The pencil is the we are scared of, the thing we are worried it will hurt us (or make our strength leak away), but we can fast and pray to TMH (just as Esther did) to give us the courage we need to get through.

📌 Ask your child to think of things that might worry them and encourage them when praying to ask TMH for the courage to get through the difficult times.
